Is it time for a Wheel Alignment?

Keeping wheels properly aligned is imperative to the performance and life of your vehicle for a wide variety of reasons. If your vehicle seems to drift to either side of the lane when driving, this could be a complication caused by improper alignment. It could also cause severe vibration at the wheel and problems maneuvering the vehicle. To prevent accidents, protect yourself and other occupants by never driving a vehicle with notable alignment issues.
Servicing your vehicle with a wheel alignment allows the tires to be readjusted at the correct angle, allowing all tires to be completely perpendicular with the road. Vehicles perform to their best ability when tires are correctly aligned as incorrect alignment causes steering and suspension problems that decrease the maneuverability of the vehicle. Improper wheel alignment can reduce the life of your tires by thousands of miles, reduce fuel economy, and cause irreversible damage to the vehicle’s suspension prompting a variety of costly auto repairs and replacements.
How will you know when scheduling a wheel alignment is necessary? Vehicles with needed wheel alignments typically pull to one side or another. Unbalanced suspension disrupts the natural drivability of the vehicle, making steering more challenging. Perhaps you notice tires wearing unevenly or increased wear on the outside or inside of the tire. You should consult a mechanic promptly to ensure no further damage is done.
Schedule an alignment check around every 6,000 miles to ensure the top performance and safety of your vehicle. Keeping routine wheel alignments and check-ups will save you both time and money while promoting the longevity of your vehicle.
